1. Introduction

Welcome to TargetMind, part of the 18.3 Tactical Suite. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our service. By accessing or using TargetMind, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Data Collection and Processing

TargetMind collects and processes the following types of data:

• Account information (email address, name) provided through Clerk authentication
• Practice session data including club selections, scenario results, and hit/miss attempts
• Bag configuration including club names, lofts, and average yardages
• Location data (latitude and longitude) used solely to fetch live weather conditions for your session

3. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights:

• Right of Access: You can request access to your personal data
• Right to Rectification: You can request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to Erasure: You can request deletion of your personal data
• Right to Data Portability: You can request a copy of your data in a structured format
• Right to Object: You can object to processing of your personal data
• Right to Restriction: You can request restriction of processing

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Practice session data and personal information are protected and only accessible to you. We use Cloudflare D1 for data storage and Clerk for authentication, both of which comply with GDPR requirements.

5. Location Data

TargetMind requests your device location to retrieve real-time weather data from OpenWeatherMap. Your coordinates are sent directly to the weather API and are not stored on our servers. Location access is optional — you can still use the app without it, though weather-adjusted scenarios will not be available.

6. Cookies and Tracking

TargetMind uses essential cookies for authentication and session management (Clerk). We also use analytics tools — PostHog and Google Analytics — to understand how the app is used and improve it over time. These analytics cookies are only set after you give your consent via the banner shown on your first visit. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual sessions or your entire account at any time. Upon account deletion, all associated data including club configurations and session history will be permanently deleted.

8. Third-Party Services

TargetMind uses the following third-party services:

• Clerk: Authentication and user management
• Cloudflare: Database and backend services
• OpenWeatherMap: Live weather data for scenario generation

Each of these services has their own privacy policies and terms of service.

9. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purposes or in violation of these terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

TargetMind is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service. The adaptive scenarios and performance insights are for training purposes only and should not replace professional golf instruction.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the application. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Netherlands.
